I was wondering how you guys use PHPStorm (or any other IntelliJ IDE) with WSL2. functionally everything works but it still feels a bit clunky. It doesn't do any cross-checking inside function bodies at this point beyond what I already mentioned. Having to open PHPStorm on the command line, fuzzy fonts and icons. PhpStorm displays the docblock return type in the code completion function selection drop-down list, and the param types and names as hints while you're filling in the function call arguments. So far this seems to be the best option but it still doesn't feel right to me. PhpStorm 2021.3 will let you push commits up to the one you have selected in the Log tab of the Git tool window. The last thing I tried is install PHPStorm inside WSL2 and run the GUI with x410. I tried the synchronize files with network share option in PHPStorm, this works great when I change a file and the file automatically get uploaded to the share but when files changes on the server I have to manually download them to the local files which is not really an improvement for my workflow. IntelliJ Idea, RubyMine, WebStorm, PhpStorm, P圜harm, Terminal, AppleScript. Doxygen also supports the hardware description language. Plug-in like CMake, Doxygen and PlantUML are available. Supports docsets generated using popular tools like Appledoc and Doxygen. Doxygen is the de facto standard tool for generating documentation from annotated C sources, but it also supports other popular programming languages such as C, Objective-C, C, PHP, Java, Python, IDL (Corba, Microsoft, and UNO/OpenOffice flavors), Fortran, and to some extent D. I often develop packages and I don't like having to wait on indexing the vendor folder all the time. JetBrains supports PhpStorm, an integrated development environment (IDE). ![]() This works but the indexing is really slow when working with composer and the vendor folder. When used as a documentation generator, Doxygen extracts information from specially-formatted comments within the code. Install PHPStorm natively on Windows 10 and point it to the project files on the \\wsl$ share. Doxygen (/ d k s i d n / DOK-see-jn) is a documentation generator and static analysis tool for software source trees. ![]() The only thing that bothers me is PHPStorm. I have WSL2 running with docker and it works great. I have always developed on Mac and Linux before but now I have to work on Windows 10.
